		<description>It is great to see people canning w/o a water bath, especially things like jam and jelly. Just remember to flip your jars right side up again after 10-15 minutes or they just won&#039;t be that pretty, LOL. Heat sealing your jar this way is perfectly safe.</description>

		<description>Krys - I soak the jar lids in boiling water - or rather pour boiling water over them as I&#039;m spooning jam into jars - this helps the sealing IMO because it heats up the &quot;glue&quot; that forms the seal and makes it work faster.  

Just my tip :) and not really mine, I got it from a canning/pectin pamphlet...</description>
